A walk between land and sea in Locoal-Mendon<\/strong><\/h2>

In the mood for some fresh air? Just the thing, we're offering you a walk that combines\u00a0forest and Brittany coast<\/strong>and you're guaranteed to be amazed!<\/p>

Locoal-Mendon, a commune in the\u00a0Morbihan South<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0This little-known region has some very pretty, unsuspected spots that are a must-see.<\/p>

Get back in touch with nature, clear your mind and smell the wooded air... then admire the beauty of the sea, its activity and breathe in its iodised air. If you're lucky, you'll spot some rare Breton birds, depending on the season.<\/p>

An easy walking route to discover the Ria d'\u00c9tel<\/strong><\/h2>

A lovely three-kilometre walk along the banks of the\u00a0Ria d'\u00c9tel\u00a0<\/strong>awaits you, with plenty to discover along the way. Wooded path, remarkable trees,\u00a0exceptional views over the Ria d'Etel<\/strong>oyster beds, gorse bushes, pretty little coves... this\u00a0hiking circuit in Brittany\u00a0<\/strong>has everything to please you!<\/p>

To get there, head towards Locoal-Mendon, then follow \"Pointe de la Forest\". At the end of this road, you'll come to a car park. The starting point is here.<\/p>

The walk begins on a fairly wide, wooded path. The path then becomes narrower, lined with low moss-covered stone walls.<\/p>

A few metres further on, on an embankment, is the\u00a0Cadoudal cache<\/strong>This is the home of General Chouan, well known for his many feats of arms during the Revolution. Inside this hideout, there is a small area where you can imagine the Chouans hiding, preparing an ambush for the Republicans. L'Chouanne history<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is steeped in history.<\/p>

At the end of the walk, a small clearing in the centre of which stands a\u00a0ancient oak<\/strong>\u00a0breathtaking. Remarkable trees, roots flush with the ground and branches are the order of the day on this part of the walk.<\/p>

The path then leads to a magnificent\u00a0panorama of the Ria d'\u00c9tel<\/strong>at Beg Lannec. Depending on the tides, you can spot oyster beds and pretty little beaches. Walk along the Ria, look at the horizon and discover\u00a0Saint-Cado<\/strong>Saint Helena and several smaller islands.<\/p>

The walk continues, punctuated by tall pines, gorse and beaches.<\/p>

Then comes the end of this\u00a0hiking in Morbihan<\/strong>. Take the road on the left to get back to the car park.<\/p>
