Semaine du Golfe sets the pace for the Gulf of Morbihan with its nautical programme and festivities<\/h2>

To showcase\u00a0the cultural and nautical riches of the Gulf<\/strong>The Morbihan department had the original idea of creating this event based around the world of sailing. The first edition took place in 2001 and the event continues to attract more and more people every two years. The\u00a013th edition of the Semaine du Golfe<\/strong>\u00a0is taking place this year!<\/p>

Numerous French and foreign yachts come together to sail in this very special environment of the \"Petite Mer\" (Mor Bihan in Breton);
Every day, more than a thousand traditional and classic boats sail in coherent and identifiable flotillas. Each day, each flotilla follows its own sailing programme, calling in at a different port each evening. Visit\u00a0port of Vannes<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the 17 member ports.<\/p>

Don't miss the\u00a0Semaine du Golfe opening parade<\/strong>\u00a0which will take place on\u00a0Monday 26 May<\/strong> from 3pm, when all the boats present will join the Tall Ships flotilla off M\u00e9aban.
To keep young and old busy, a wide range of events are being organised during the week, including tastings of local produce and seafood, fest-noz (a night-time party), model-building, local music and shows...
