Events in Morbihan, not to be missed this summer
In summer, the events in Brittany are coming forward!
We have selected some of the events in Morbihan not to be missed :
- La Brittany Festivalfrom 12 May to 21 May 2023, is a unique, festive and friendly family event that showcases Breton culture. Many of the events in the programme are free.
- Le La Gacilly Photo Festival is inviting holidaymakers to join us from 1 June to 1 October 2023 for an extraordinary exhibition in the gardens and alleyways of this small village in Morbihan.
- Livr'à Vannes takes place on 9, 10 and 11 June 2023, for its 16th edition. It is the leading general literary fair in Brittany, with an average of 25,000 visitors.
- Fête de la musique in Vannes on 21 June 2023. A major event awaits you in the port of Vannes, with the Echonova.
- Le Remparts de Vannes trail 25 June 2023. A trail running race in which participants cover 15 or 30 kilometres through the streets and paths, passing by the medieval ramparts and the town's historic monuments.
- L'Ultramarinefrom June 29 to July 2, 2023, offers running races from 29 to 175km around one of the most beautiful bays in the world, the Golfe du Morbihan.
- Belle île On Air Festivalon 6, 7 and 8 July 2023, is the only contemporary music event in Belle Ile en Mer. The Citadelle Vauban will be vibrating to the rhythm of contemporary music!
- Paka Festivalon 15 and 16 July 2023 in La Trinité sur Mer. Electronic music event with international DJs.
- Le Jazz En Ville festivalFrom 26 to 29 July 2023, Vannes is the place to be this summer, with free concerts featuring international stars with pop, rock, funk, Afro beat, electro, blues and oriental influences...
- The Musicales du Golfefor the 32nd edition of the 1er August to 12 August 2023, make stopovers with internationally renowned musicians.
- Le Lorient Interceltic Festivalfrom 4 to 13 August 2023, is the world's largest gathering of Celtic cultures.
- Le Arvor Festival from 12 to 15 August 2023. A major gathering devoted to Breton culture, with the election of the Queen of Arvor. The sumptuous fireworks display on 15 August will be fired from the ramparts of Vannes, bringing the three-day festival to a close.
- Le Auray-Vannes half-marathon 10 September 2023 is the sporting event of the autumn. Several races and distances are available (20 km, 10 km or 5 km).
