Events in Morbihan, not to be missed this summer
In summer, the events in Brittany are coming forward!
We have selected some of the events in Morbihan not to be missed :
- La Brittany Festival, running from Friday 14 May to Sunday 24 May 2026, is a unique, festive and friendly family event that showcases Breton culture. Many of the events on the programme are free.
- Le La Gacilly Photo Festival welcomes holidaymakers from 1 June to 4 October 2026 for an extraordinary exhibition in the gardens and narrow streets of this small village in Morbihan.
- Livr'à Vannes takes place from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June 2026, marking its 19th edition. It is Brittany’s leading general literary fair, attracting an average of 32,000 visitors.
- Fête de la musique In Vannes on 21 June 2026, a major event awaits you at the port of Vannes.
- L'Ultramarine, from 24 June to 28 June 2026, features running races ranging from 29 to 175 km around one of the world’s most beautiful bays, the Gulf of Morbihan.
- Paka Festival, on 18 and 19 July 2026 in La Trinité-sur-Mer. An electronic music event featuring international DJs.
- Vannes Echos Jazz, taking place from 8 to 11 July 2026, is a must-see summer event in Vannes, featuring free concerts by international stars drawing on influences from pop, rock, funk, Afrobeat, electronic, blues and Middle Eastern music…
- The Musicales du Golfe, for the 35th edition, running from 1 to 13 August 2026, enjoy performances by internationally renowned musicians.
- Le Lorient Interceltic Festival, from 31 July to 9 August 2026, is the world’s largest gathering celebrating Celtic cultures.
- Le Arvor Festival from 14 to 16 August 2026. A major festival celebrating Breton culture, featuring the election of the Queen of Arvor. The spectacular fireworks display on 15 August will be set off from the ramparts of Vannes, bringing these three days of celebrations to a close.
- Le Auray-Vannes half-marathon 12 and 13 September 2026 marks the start of the new season’s sporting events. There are several races and distances to choose from (20 km, 10 km or 5 km).
